This draft describes the proposed Mutt & Moment website, email signup, care-contact, and shopping experience. The responsible legal entity, privacy contact, and effective date must be identified in the final notice.
Information you choose to provide
The email signup asks for a name and email address. A separate care-contact form asks for a name, email, and optional phone. Messages, orders, and support requests may contain additional information you provide. Please do not submit sensitive identification documents, payment details, or unnecessary health information through general forms.
Why information is used
Proposed purposes are responding to requests, coordinating agreed care, handling orders and support, maintaining the website, and sending Mutt & Moment marketing emails when you choose to join. Care messages and order messages are separate from marketing. A phone number is not consent to marketing texts.
Your marketing choice
The email checkbox names Mutt & Moment only. It does not authorize marketing by unnamed businesses or the sale of your information. You can withdraw email marketing permission using an unsubscribe link or a privacy request. Withdrawing marketing permission does not necessarily stop essential transaction or care messages.
Service providers, cookies, and advertising
The storefront uses Shopify. The final notice must identify relevant provider categories, payment and fulfillment arrangements, analytics, advertising tools, cookies, retention practices, and transfers actually in use. This draft does not establish that optional tracking is inactive across the store or change platform-level settings.
Sale, sharing, and earlier promises
The existing Mutt & Moment privacy notice states: “We do not sell your submitted contact information.” Information collected under that notice remains subject to that promise. This draft does not authorize sale of historical contact records or expand earlier marketing permissions. The proposed signup requests email marketing permission for Mutt & Moment only. SMS marketing, marketing by other companies, and data sales are not being activated by this overhaul. Any future change requires separate business and legal review, accurate disclosures, applicable choices, and any required fresh consent before the new use begins.
Retention and security
Keep information only as needed for disclosed purposes and applicable obligations. The final policy must describe the actual retention criteria and request-handling process. No website can promise absolute security.
Requests and rights
Depending on your location and circumstances, rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, opting out, or appeal. The owner must confirm applicable rights, verification methods, response timelines, and contact channels before this notice takes effect. Avoid sending sensitive documents through a general inquiry.
Children and changes
This service is intended for adults arranging dog care or shopping. The final notice must address any applicable children’s privacy obligations and how material changes will be communicated.
